Chris Hood: A Work in Progress

Version 1


Designed in Adobe Illustrator, this logo is a playful riff on my own surname, and draws inspiration from the classic tale of Robin Hood.

The style is simple, bold, colourful, and fun to boot.

Version 2


The first version was impractical to be used as a header for this blog, as there was too much disparity between font sizes used, so it was reworked into this.

Drop shadow was increased to embolden the image further.

Another entry for a Reddit “Photoshop battle,” inspired by the 1993 Rob Cohen movie “Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story,” and the seagulls from the 2003 Pixar animated feature “Finding Nemo.”

Another entry for a Reddit “Photoshop battle,” Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler captured falling off a paddle board on holiday, superimposed into a screenshot from the 2007 smash hit movie “300.”

They now appear to be one man down…
